The old year 2007 says good bye with a beautiful sunny day here in the Philippines and a flat tire on my motor bike, the first one in 3 years. That's quite amazing, in Thailand I used to have a flat tire almost once every week.
In the neighbourhood they killed 3 big pigs this morning to make sure everybody has enough to eat tonight and on the road to Loon people preparing for tonight's party by putting out TVs and Stereos for singing Karaoke. So around here there will be a lot of noise and drunken Filipinos tonight. The amount of people who got hurt by fire crackers went over hundred already, this evening there will be traditionally a few deaths as well. Happy New Year in the Philippines...
