In another life, I used to be a diving instructor. I haven't done much in diving over the past 3 years or so but that's going to be changed soon. Last year I bought me a second hand Bauer Compressor in Germany and sent it by Balik Bayan Box to the Philippines. It arrived in November already but it took me until now, to set up a new frame for it, and just 3 days ago I could finaly run it for the first time and surprisingly, it worked. The compressor is from 1975 and I could not try it when I bought it so I was really wondering if it would do the job. Two weeks ago however, my wife and I made our first dive here in Bohol, more or less right in front of our house. I took a few pictures and a video but since the visibility was not so good that day, nothing serious came out of it. So I just post the picture of the newly set up compressor. Some underwater pictures will follow, when we manage to do some more diving.
So when people ask me what I do here in the Philippines every day because I don't seem to be working, well Scuba Diving is just another thing to do to kill the time...
