Our Flight with Etihad Airways

Well, last year we were desperately looking for a reasonable cheap flight to the Philippines and decided for Kuwait Airways because it was by miles the cheapest offer.
This year however, it seems that many airlines are desperately looking for customers since there are so many cheap offers.
Still, all the international flights that would end up in Cebu like Qatar, Malaysian, Cathay Pacific or Asiana would cost about 200,- € more than the flights to Manila. Flights from Germany or Europe to Manila are available for about 650,- € for an at least a six month ticket by Etihad Airways, Kuwait Airways and Gulf Air. Few other airlines also had the same price but the tickets were only valid for 3 month or less.
We decided to fly on Etihad Airways this time, altough we will have a 7 hours stopover in Abu Dabi on the way back. I booked us another connection flight on PAL from NAIA to Tagbilaran for only 22,- € each, including all taxes.
The flight on Etihad was good, altough the seats in the A330 from Frankfurt to Abu Dhabi were very tight. On the second leg the used a B777 aircraft which was much better with more space for the legs.
What should I say more? The food was good, drinks like "all you can drink" and the cabin attendants were friendly and all flights were on time. Ahh... and not to forget the entertainment system on board the aircrafts: Big screen on each seat and plenty of movies and games to choose from. Maybe we will fly on Etihad again next year.
